2020 has already been a year marked by incredible societal change, induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the accompanying economic downturn and other factors, such as the renewed global reckoning with racism and colonial histories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Europe was by no means spared by these developments, and so there have been some important political changes across the continent, as well. In this map, we take a look at the parties currently leading the polls – the first place, and the second place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
